How to setup and use the PETRACKR Veterinary Blood Glucose Monitoring System and the PETRACKR Mobile App:
To correctly use the PETRACKR Analyser with the PETRACKR Mobile App, you first need to connect your analyser and phone, you then need to set up your pet/patient on the PETRACKR Analyser.
How to setup and connect the PETRACKR Analyser and the PETRACKR Mobile App:
Download the PETRACKR Mobile App and follow the prompts to set up the mobile app
Turn on the PETRACKR Analyser by holding the "ok" button then select your language
Continue setup with the analyser and the mobile app together as prompted, connect your analyser to the mobile app, please ensure your analyser is "On" and your mobile Bluetooth is also "On"
During the Bluetooth connection process between the PETRACKR Analyser and the PETRACKR Mobile App, a set of Bluetooth PIN numbers will appear on the Analyser screen, kindly enter the Bluetooth pin shown on the Analyser into your phone when prompted, this will now successfully connect your PETRACKR Analyser and the PETRACKR Mobile App
A few more steps are necessary to get the best results from your PETRACKR Analyser and the PETRACKR Mobile App
Set Time/Date Settings:
On the PETRACKR Analyser
Select Settings, and then select Time/Date
Follow the screen prompts to set time and date on the PETRACKR Analyser
Note: Setting up the time and date on your PETRACKR Analyser impacts the PETRACKR Mobile App notifications.
How to setup pet/patient on the PETRACKR Analyser:
Note: This enables the PETRACKR Analyser and the PETRACKR Mobile App to automatically synchronise blood glucose results from the PETRACKR Analyser to the PETRACKR Mobile App for easy reporting.
From the main menu - select Settings - select Manage Patients - select Add Patient
Then follow the screen prompts to setup your pet/patient on the PETRACKR Analyser
Ensure you select "Finish Setup"
Note: You can change the name of your pet once setup on the PETRACKR Analyser, by using the PETRACKR Mobile App.
How to perform a blood glucose test on the PETRACKR Analyser:
Turn on the PETRACKR Analyser or insert a test strip, both actions will turn "On" the PETRACKR Analyser.
Insert the test strip into the PETRACKR Analyser strip port on top of the PETRACKR Analyser
Ensure you select the desired or correct pet/patient on the PETRACKR Analyser
Using the PETRACKR Lancing device, obtain a blood sample from the animal
Apply the blood sample to the PETRACKR test strip
Results is displayed in 5 seconds
If you wish, you can also add insulin and meal after results are displayed
On completion of your test result, you can easily eject the test strip by holding the eject button and dispose of the used test strip into a suitable disposal container.
Extra Tips:
To return back to the main menu, simply press down the "Back Button" on the side of the PETRACKR Analyser
To get to your previous results, go to the main menu and select "History"
On the history screen, you can see all your results and summaries on the PETRACKR Analyser
You can also view your results on the PETRACKR Mobile App.
